Discover the true value of your jewelry with appraisal services at Lake Oswego Jewelers. We offer two types of appraisals to suit your needs:
Quick In-Person Consultation: Ideal for those who have inherited or received jewelry without much background information. In this service, we'll test the diamond and metal right in front of you, helping you understand exactly what you have. It's a quick, while-you-wait process designed for your convenience.
Full Appraisal: Necessary for insurance purposes or if you're considering reselling your item. This detailed appraisal takes 7-10 business days and cannot be done while you wait. We require that you leave your item with us for the duration to ensure a thorough evaluation. The cost for a full appraisal is $180 for the first item. If you have additional pieces to be appraised at the same time, each subsequent report is available at a reduced rate of $150.
Understanding the worth of your jewelry not only aids in making informed decisions but also brings peace of mind. Whether it's for a quick consult or a comprehensive report, our experienced team is here to assist. Trust us to handle your valued possessions with care and expertise.

Looking to sell jewelry that's no longer your style or has been passed down to you? At Lake Oswego Jewelers, we offer in-person consignment consultations to help you find a new home for your cherished pieces. During the consultation, we'll discuss a strategic plan for selling, whether it’s a single item or multiple pieces.
If you decide to consign with us and we believe your jewelry has good selling potential, we'll require a recent appraisal (conducted within the last 3 years) to accompany it. Should your item lack a current appraisal, we can arrange for one at a cost of $125-150, depending on the number of pieces. This process typically takes 7-10 business days.
Once appraised, we’ll determine a suitable sale price. We display your jewelry in our store at half of the appraised value. Upon a successful sale, we retain a 40% commission based on the final selling price.
This consignment service is an excellent opportunity to transform your unworn jewelry into potential earnings while ensuring they're presented and sold with the utmost care and professionalism.
Let’s collaborate to find the best path forward for your precious pieces.
